Share the "Christmas Magic" Dec. 10 focus to offices This is the Season for giving and the Downtown Oakville BIA and the Salvation Army invite you to share in the spirit of the holidays by donating a non-perishable food item to the Christmas Magic food drive. This Friday, from 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.. Salvation Army donation bins will be located throughout downtown Oakville, along Lakeshore Road East. All food donations will go towards the Salvation Army Food Drive to help families in need this time of year. Major Rolf Guenther of the Salvation Army explained that all non-perishable food is appreciated, but there is an extra special need this year for baby food, for mula and cereal, as well as canned meats.
