In 2004, the Star M azda season prize package w ill grow to an estim ated $500,000, and the Star M azda Series also w ill cam paign a new chassis featuring a m ore pow erful, next generation M azda rotary engine. The racecar will feature a m onocoque built to FIA standards, the new R enesis rotary engine and a six-speed sequential gearbox. A rigorous testing program has been developed for two prototypes, w hich w ill spend the m ajority o f the 2003 season being tested and developed at tracks around the country.
