The social under the auspices of the Active Workers' Society, held in the Presbyterian church on Tuesday evening, 15th was a pleasing success. A program which was enjoyed by all present was given by the following local artists: Mrs. F.W. Brooke, Miss Cumberland, Miss Hettie Lawson, Miss Margaret Evans, Mr. Hugh Little and the orchestra. After the program refreshments were served. The proceeds were quite satisfactory.
