Power Boat Club celebrates 50th anniversary The Oakville Power Boat Cub (O PBC ) is celebrating its 50th anniver sary' with four days of fun. music, food, drinks and live entertainment. The event begins Aug. I -4. with the official kick-off on the Friday and open ing ceremonies on Saturday at 1 1 a.m. More than MX) people are expected to attend the commemorative event, including local dignitaries, club mem bers. past members and fellow boaters from around Lake Ontario as well as Upper New York State.
