That's the dilemma facing Charlie and Marguerita Cardoso, who received the bad news about their son, Daniel, just prior to his eighth birthday on Monday. "W e're telling Daniel, a little bit at a time." said Marguerita. " W e'll tell him little bit after his birthday party." The Cardosos were devastated after learning last week Daniel's cancer had relapsed. His first bout with cancer was bad enough - this time it's worse. Charlie is unable to work. Marguerita is crying. Daniel is oblivious to the seriousness of having to undergo yet another round of chemotherapy treatments. Despite the bad news, the Cardosos went ahead with Daniel's eighth birth day party last Sunday that was sched uled as a fundraiser for pediatric brain tumour research at the Hospital for Sick Children.
