OGC tumblers top Canadians at world meets Three Oakville Gymnastics Club tumblers were the top Canadians in their category at the world and world age-group trampoline and tumbling championships recently in Daytona Beach, Fla. Michael Chaves made his world championship debut with an 11th-place finish in the senior men's division. His total of 70.2 points fell just 0.8 points short of advancing to the final. In the world age-group championships, Rylee Davison reached the final of the 1314 competition, placing eighth, and Haven Swarts came 10th in the 15-16 division. OGC's Don Holmes was Team Canada's coach at the world championships and worked as a personal coach at the agegroup championships.
