Mike Walsh was driving home from work Nov. 24, the day high winds swept across the GTA. A gust of wind lifted his pickup truck and swung it into the path of on-coming traffic. He hit a cube van head- Mike Walsh on and was pinned under the dashboard of his truck. Walsh's right femur and left ankle were shattered, his left arm was broken and he also suffered internal injuries. The father of five kids between the ages of four and 14 is currently recovering at St. John's Rehab Hospital in Toronto. Walsh, a carpenter, faces an uncertain future about when, or if, he will be able to return to work.
