Fine wines from award-winning boutique wineries delivered to your door is the concept behind Oakville Beaver Wine Connection - a wine ordering program featuring bottles for sale that are not readily available at LCBO out lets. All of the wines offered have been selected by wine critics from The Toronto Star and Hamilton Spectator. "Selecting wines for the Wine Connection has been truly rewarding," said Dan Kislenko, wine critic for the Spectator. "It is a unique service which allows me to connect with read ers. Gordon Stimmell, the Star's wine critic, says Wine Connection offers Bea\er readers a chance to sample great wines that aren't nor mally offered at LCBO outlets. "The success of the Wine Connection pro gram has provided me with great satisfaction in knowing that we have helped readers learn about and discover some remarkably good wines," he said. Among the Critic's Picks that are available through Oak\'ille Beaver Wine Connection are Cave Spring Cellars 2000 Pinot Noir, Henry of Pelham 2001 Mosaic Gamay/Zweigelt, Angels Gate 2002 Vidal and Strewn 2002 Sauvignon Blanc. As a special addition to Oakville Beaver Wine Connection' s latest offering, oiganizers are offering customers a chance to participate in Cellar Essentials. The program gives those interested in start ing their own wine collections four excellent bottles to stock their cellars. Cellar Essentials offered include Thomas and Vaughan 2000 Meritage, Kacaba 2000 Cabernet, Crown Bench Reserve 2000 Chardonnay and Stoney Ridge 2002 Sauvignon Blanc.
