This gallery will help us provide the broadest range of design alternatives to meet their cre ative needs." Thomas adds, "We will have a database of where each piece is sold so that no two pieces are too closely placed together. We don't want to lose the integrity of the statues. Mrs. Jones won't have the same piece as her neighbour three doors down - it's important to remember that this is true art." In Thom as' mind. The Bronze Frog Gallery is the next logical step. "Europeans have been adding statuary to their gardens for centuries," she says. " The art work sim ply has not been readily available here. There is noth ing else like this gallery. Not only can our customers see the statuary in person but we will offer our experience to help them in the selection of pieces and placement, if needed. Such unique pieces as ours are usually sold over the internet or found while on vacation world wide - not in the heart o f Oakville. Buying such art work on the Internet is not a comfortable choice for many people. We now have a broad based solution in statuary choices that you can touch and feel, in a fan tastic indoor garden experi ence." The beauty and resilience o f the bronze, marble and stone will last a lifetime. The gallery is open seven days a week and can be reached by calling 905-8496338 or visit www.bronzefroggallery.com. New retail concept right in your backyard Gallery replicates stone courtyard Garden enthusiasts do not have to travel far to find a unique and broad range of garden statuary -- it can all be found in their own back yard. Kathy Thomas, owner of Green Thumb Landscaping Ltd., has opened the door to a new retail concept called the Bronze Frog Gallery. The gallery, located at 162 Lakeshore Rd. E., offers a collection of bronze, mar ble and stone statuary as well as teak furniture imported from Italy and Thailand. Other quality items are avail able to enhance your outdoor living room as well as spe ciality items for holiday dec orating. Thomas and her sup pliers say they will search the globe for suitable additions to the collection at the gallery. Gardeners can browse for that special piece in an indoor courtyard experience. The 3.000-sq. ft. gallery replicates a stone courtyard, enhanced with several operating water foun tains, sim ilar to an old European garden experience. Thom as' vision for the gallery was drawn from her 32 years o f experience as the owner o f Green Thumb Landscaping Ltd. -- a gar dening and landscape con struction service with more than 1,000 customers in the Greater Toronto Area. "My customers tell me that they are looking for more design alternatives. They are looking for the next element in garden design," said Thomas. "Many have undergone extensive interior renova tions and are looking to bring G o l f C l u b | J w k 4> : /7 -jj-' 'vtffBP' O AK TO W N 550 · (905) TDAcV|NJ?
