A2 - The Oakville Beaver, W ednesday May 28, 2003 Halton Pride Committee needs volunteers for picnic The Halton Pride Committee is looking for volunteers to help out on June 7 during the 4th Annual Halton Pride Picnic at Bronte Creek Provincial Park. To that end. a volunteer ori entation evening has been sched uled for Wednesday. June 4, at Halton Regional headquarters. 1151 Bronte Rd. just north of the QEW. It starts at 7 p.m. Several volunteer positions are open and organizers are encouraging those wanting to help out to attend. "We are excited about pro viding an opportunity to help out the community again this year." says Halton Pride Committee chair Marcus Logan. "It's such a great event and it pulls people from all over the region. Hamilton. Peel and Toronto, the volunteers have a chance to make a difference in the region..."
