The "differently-abled" art exhibition features the works of artists who have "experienced adversity and challenges, and have incorporated that into their artistic practice, inspiration and presentation," according to the JCHAC. The show focuses on different ways of seeing and experiencing the world reflected in art. Clockwise, from top left, artist Donna Worktynec stands infront of her painting of faces; Erin Justice holds a printed version of her painting; Kathy Miller takes a moment to look at a series of paintings on the wall and window; Arthur Gordon and his wife Jaleh Gordon take a seat in front of some of the featured artists' works, after walking through the gallery; some of the paintings on display; Justice laughs with JCHAC owner Sybil Rampen after receiving a rose for her painting. Art from the Heart will stay on display at the 1086 Burnhamthorpe Rd. E. art gallery until March 8. The JCHAC is open Tuesdays-Sundays from 1-4 p.m. For more information, visit www.joshuacreekarts.com. | photos by Justin Greaves Oakville Beaver (Follow on Twitter @halton_photog or www.facebook.com/HaltonPhotog)
