This is the third year the organization has held its campaign. Partnering with McMaster Children's Hospital in Hamilton, the local Canadian Blood Services chapter will send red bravery beads with a message from a new blood donor. The Bravery Bead Program at the hospital allows children the chance to collect a different bead for each procedure or event they undergo while visiting the hospital for treatment. The goal of the program is to make a necklace with colourful beads that represent the unique and special journey of a particular child and to make something that they are proud of and want to share with family and friends.
