Madison Emily Costantini 2003-2014 Maddie died peacefully at home, surrounded by love and family, after a long battle with a DIPG brain tumour on Saturday, June 7th at the age of 11. Dear daughter to Doug and Saundra Costantini (Roszmann), loving big sister and best friend to Kayla age 9. Madison, you are now at peace with God, but you will always be a part of us. She will be forever missed but never forgotten by her aunts, uncles, and cousins; David & Kim Quesnelle: Kylie and Matthew. Nick & Sharon Costantini: Connor, Courtney and Ashley. Royden & Jonna Costantini: Marcus, Isabelle and James. Mike & Maria Amadio: Darcy, Joey and Lauryn. Madison will be greatly missed by her beloved grandparents Nora Costantini, and Don and Joan Roszmann. She will always hold a special place in the hearts of her friends from school, Girl Guides, the neighbourhood and other extended circles and communities. We would like to thank our medical team at SickKids and within the community for taking such great care of our sweet and incredibly brave little girl. Throughout, this most difficult journey over the last 9 months our family has been given the most incredible support we could have ever imagined. Our sincerest thanks to everyone who reached out in any way... It meant the world to us. Maddie's smile was contagious and her outgoing and inclusive personality touched many. She liked to try new things, while being surrounded by people she loved. Maddie was always so motherly and cared deeply about others. Her bright and colourful spirit will continue to live in us and everyone she has touched in her short 11 years of life. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville, on Thursday June 12th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th at St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church, 1150 Monks Passage, Oakville at 10am, Celebrated by Fr. Mark Gatto. As expressions of sympathy, donations to SickKids Foundation in Honour/Memory of Madison Costantini. Funds will then go directly to Pediatric brain tumour research.
