Oakville Perfoming Arts Centre hosts The Dining Room The Soulpepper theatre company is bringing its production of The Dining Room to the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts (OCPA) next Thursday (March 12). The A.R. Gurney comedy, directed by Joseph Ziegler, weaves together dozens of lives that intertwine over multiple generations around an everyday, ordinary dining room table. "Birthday parties, family meals, heartbreaks and rst loves, children growing up and their homecoming -- the pattern of life's everyday milestones are mapped out around that vanishing family institution -- The Dining Room," stated an OCPA news release. "We're thrilled to bring Soulpepper's production to Oakville," said Robin Howarth, OCPA theatre manager. "One of my goals is to provide highquality entertainment to Oakville residents and this production will do just that, bringing some of the best in Canadian theatre right here to our local stage." The production features actors Derek Boyes, Courtney Ch'ng Lancaster, Jeff Lillico, Diego Matamoros, Brenda Robins and Sarah Wilson. The production team includes Ziegler, set and costume designer Robin Fisher, lighting designer Ken MacKenzie, sound designer Richard Feren, assistant director Marc Bondy, stage manager Darragh Parsons, and assistant stage manager Emily Mewett. The show starts at 8 p.m. at the OCPA's Studio Theatre, 130 Navy St. Tickets are available online at www. oakvillecentre.ca, or by calling the box of ce at 905-815-2021 or toll-free at 1-888-489-7784. 31 | Thursday, March 5, 2015 | OAKVILLE BEAVER | www.insideHALTON.com General $8.50 | Children & Seniors $6.50 | All seats Tues $5.00 ShOWTiMES fOR MARCh 6-12 OpEninG ThiS WEEK: ChAppiE And ThE SECOnd BEST ExOTiC MARiGOld hOTEl Chappie (14A) Fri - Thu: 1:30, 4:30, 7:10, 9:40 Fifty Shades of Grey (18A) Fri - Wed: 9:30 Fri - Wed: 1:20, 4:00, 7:20, 9:40 Thu: 1:20, 4:00, 9:40 Focus (14A) Kingsman: The Secret Service (14A) Fri - Wed: 1:10, 3:50, 6:30, 9:10 Thu: 1:10, 3:50, 8:40 Only Still Life exhibition in Bronte on until next Thursday Trias Gallery's still life exhibit is running in Oakville until Thursday, March 12.
