- A postcard sent to Charles T. Baillie at Naparima College in San Fernando, Trinidad, mailed from Halifax, N.S. The Sebastopol monument was erected in 1860 to commemorate the death of two Halifax men in the Crimean War. Major A.F Welsforde and Captain W.B.C.A Parker participated in the siege on Sebastopol.
