As of Monday, March 23, employees of the Oakville Beaver, Burlington Post and Premier Publications will be working from our new of ce building, located at 5046 Mainway, Unit 2 in Burlington. The three business units are being brought together in one location close to the border of Oakville and Burlington, to utilize the synergies that will result from all being under one roof, said David Harvey, general manager, Metroland Media Group, Halton Division. Approximately 100 employees will make the move, from the Burlington Post, the Oakville Beaver and Premier Publications and Shows, the latter department being responsible for magazines such as West, City Parent and Forever Young, as well as popular events such as the Toronto Golf and Travel Show and the Spring and Fall National Bridal Shows. "It is an exciting time for our publications and shows and we welcome readers and clients to our new of ce," said Harvey. The move takes place this coming weekend and we'll be open for business Monday morning without missing a beat. The of ce's regular hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. For your convenience, yellow Oakville Beaver newspaper boxes will be located at 447 Speers Rd. and 467 Speers Rd.
