She credits much o f the suc cess to her staff. Lick's classics like addressing customers by first name and singing their requests were originated by the younger employees. "Listen to your staff, treat them well, encourage leadership, and get them involved. "It may sound like small stuff, but it's am azing how small stuff adds to big stuff," said Meehan.
