W., which occurred earlier this year. Overnight between Jan. 5-6, a suspect smashed the front window of the animal clinic and ransacked its office area before breaking into a locked medicine cabinet. An unspecified quantity of Phenobarbital, a drug used to treat seizures in animals and humans, and Vetalar, a Ketamine-based sedative that's been used as a date rape drug, were stolen. The night of Feb. 17, the same clinic was broken into again. The suspect(s) stole Hydromorphone, Phenobarbital and Euthansol narcotics. A third break-in occurred just days later, on Feb. 26, when someone smashed the front glass door. Police said the suspect left empty-handed that time because the narcotics had not been replaced from the previous break-in. Halton police have issued multiple warnings about the potentially harmful and even fatal consequences of a person using the stolen drugs recreationally. The suspect is described as a white male, 25-40 years old, 5-foot9 to 6-foot and 175-200 lbs. He wore a blue jacket with yellow lining, a dark-coloured toque and red gloves.
