This year's race will benefit the Lighthouse for Grieving Children, which supports families in the Halton and Peel regions who have experienced a life-altering death. The Mercedes-Benz Oakville 10K will feature a 10-kilometre run and walk, a 5K run and walk, a 5K school challenge sponsored by The Martin Group of National Bank Financial, a 1K junior jog, a 300-metre toddler trot, a mascot race and a newly-improved family fun zone. Anyone 25 years of age or older who finishes the 10K or 5K will be entered into a random draw to win a one-year lease of a new 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA 4MATIC, provided by Mercedes-Benz Oakville Autohaus. S I G N O F S P R I N G Oakville's Jervis, Cross selected to play in CIS All-Star East-West Bowl Oakville residents Aaron Jervis and Declan Cross have been invited to participate in the annual Canadian Interuniversity Sport All-Star East-West Bowl football game next month in Montreal. Jervis, a 6-foot-4, 256-pound defensive lineman at the University of Toronto, will play for the East and Cross, a 5-foot-11, 215-pound running back at McMaster, will represent the West in the game Saturday, May 9, at McGill University.
