Hamilton Goodale fundraiser Thursday A fundraiser for Oakville's Carol Hamilton Goodale will be held tomor row (Thursday) at the Harbour Banquet & Conference Centre, 2340 Ontario St., Oakville. Tickets are still available by purchas ing on line (see web address at end of story) or can be picked up at The Goodale Group at Century 21 Miller Realestate, 467 Speers Rd. (between Dorval & Fourth line). Cocktails are from 6-7 p.m. and the subsequent program includes dinner, dancing, music, keynote speaker and silent auction. The other way to help out, for those that can't stay the whole evening, is to participate in the silent auction which has a growing list of items. Hamilton Goodale -- a former national basketball team star who is active in the Oakville sports communi ty through Home Court basketball which she helped found along with husband Bill Goodale -- was diag nosed with inoperable cancer this past summer. Since that time, the former basket ball star has been doing everything in her power to fight the cancer, including information gathering (at the library, on the internet and talking to cancer sur vivors) and taking measures to boost her own immune system and to reduce or eliminate as much as possible any cancer causing substances in her sys tem and in her environment.
