They're featured on the next few pages and continued on section E. My Special Time of Christmas My special time of Christmas is when I go to the Bahamas. In the Bahamas, I go to visit my cousins and my grandparents on my dad's side. My parents and I stay at the Atlantis hotel in Nassau. This hotel has a very high waterslide. It also has the biggest Water Park to play and swim in. No snow and cold, only warm water to swim in. On Christmas Day, my parents and I cele brate it at my aunt's house. We dress up on Christmas Day because it is a special day. We have a turkey dinner, with stuffing and cran berry sauce and gravy, and rice, macaroni, potato salad, lobster salad and vegetables. After dinner, we sit around the Christmas tree and open all our presents and then I play together with my cousins. After Christmas, we take a plane to go and see my Grandpa and Grandma and the rest of my cousins in Eleuthera. My Grandma makes the best Sweet Bread in the whole wide world. I eat a lot of my Grandma's bread. It's a wonder that I don't look like a DOUGH BOY!!! On December 31, my parents and I stay up all night. First we go to a New Year's Ball, with the best food and music. We watch fire works at midnight. Then at three in the morn ing we go to Junkanoo. This is a parade where the people dress up in beautiful costumes and dance all night in the streets to the music of horns, trumpets, goat skin drums, and cow bells. After having so much fun in the Bahamas, I come back to my beautiful home in Oakville and open all the rest of my presents that I could not take with me to the Bahamas. A long time ago in Bethlehem, Sarah got news that a saviour was going to be bom. Sarah was eight years old. She had blonde hair and green eyes. Her whole family was bustling around getting the child gifts. Sarah did not know what to give Him. She only had a few days to decide. Her older sister, Leah, was giving Jesus gold. Sarah's older brother, Matthew, was giving Jesus silver. Sarah's younger sister, Carolina, was giving Jesus perfume. December 25th came way too soon. Before you knew it Sarah's family was pack ing up to see Jesus. Sarah felt sick. She didn't even have a gift! Sarah's family started to walk along the crooked streets. Sarah tried not to cry. Jesus would like everything else instead of her red ribbon. The red ribbon was the gift she could find. On their way Sarah spotted a moonstone lying in the ground. She picked it up and kept it. Maybe Jesus would like that. They continued walking. A leaf started falling. Sarah jum ped up and caught it. WOW!! Seven years of good luck! She held onto it for Jesus too. Sarah's family walked through a stream. Sarah saw something shiny. Why, it was a seashell! While they took a trail through the forest, Sarah found a cater pillar. When they got to the stable with a star above it, they walked inside. It was the most amazing sight Sarah had ever seen. There was Jesus in a manger. A man and woman were standing beside the manger. Their names were Joseph and Mary. Suddenly there was a burst of song. Fifty angels soared over the stable.
