Bronte Bugle BRANCH 486, ROYAL CANADIAN VOL. 1 SEPTEMBER 1968 LEGION No.5 OBITUARY President's Message by AL GREENWOOD --The Last Post.~~ Dan Rennie, a member of our branch for over 10 years, died suddenly at his home on West Street, Thursday, August 15th, 1968. He was 55. 'Da'n had been a very active worker' for the legion ser~jng as secretary of the branch for many years: at the same time looking after ex-servicemen and their families while filling his duties as Service Officer. Dannie was one of the original members who started' our weekly binge in the Anglican church hall and was the reg· ular caller for many years.
