Held at Appleby College, 540 Lakeshore Rd. W., the event start at 7 p.m. and all proceeds will benefit the Oakville & Milton Humane Society (OMHS). More than $75,000 was raised at last year's event and organizers say they hope to surpass that amount this year. Tickets to the adults-only event cost $40 and include food from Oakville restaurants and gourmet food emporiums, as well as silent and live auctions. There will also be a variety of martinis, beer and wine for sale through purchase of the event's official currency, Dog Bones, which can be purchased on the night of the fundraiser. Two Oakville residents are lending their talents to the fundraiser. The Weather Network's Chris Mei will be the MC for the evening and local Latin guitarist Johannes Linstead and his trio band will entertain the crowd.
