The event was held last Wednesday (July 8) and was sponsored by the Bronte Business Improvement Area (BIA) to help commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Bronte Horticultural Society's association with the Bronte Village lakeside park museum, and its 90th anniversary as a horticultural society. "Our work at Sovereign House represents a labour of love for this beautiful site," said BHS president Paula Warwick. Annually, BHS members plant and maintain the gardens at Sovereign House Park in Bronte between May and October. The plaque is to celebrate and recognize the ongoing work of the club.
