- This photo is that of a birch tree bark detail at Gairloch Gardens' trellised Rose Garden. I enjoy Oakville's various parks, trails, and walks along the harbours and the shores of Lake Ontario. I often take my camera and usually focus on the trees which I love, and take numerous photographs, cropping usually before I shoot, and progressively zooming in on some interesting detail. Changes in weather and the seasons provide much variety, even if the subject matter is limited.
