With her four-legged companions by her side, she left us unexpectedly. She has gone to join our dear Dad, her husband, Bill, who left us way too early in 1994. You all know she loved life and loved to laugh and...enjoyed the occasional glass or three of wine. But, her biggest joys in life were her children, Rob, Jamie, Mike and Carrie and their children, Chris, Darcy, Melissa, Anna, Ryan, Jared, Joe and John. Pat was a school teacher who retired from QEP high school in Oakville where she was a librarian. After retirement and the passing of Dad, she was very active at the Sir John Colborne Centre in Oakville and with her "partner in crime and travel", Edel Brasher, organized travel adventures which was her dream. Mom loved the computer and recently joined Facebook and she was delighted to reconnect with former students and long-lost friends. Please join us to celebrate her incredible life, her generous heart and fond memories of the best Mom and Granny ever on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr St. 905- 844-2600), Oakville. Hugs will be received and given from 4-7 p.m., with a service to follow. Per Mom's wishes, in lieu of flowers, she wanted donations in her memory made to the Oakville Humane Society, or any animal welfare charity or organization dear to your heart.
