DEMPSTER, Susan Unexpectedly on Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Burloak Long Term Care Centre. Beloved wife of John Dempster of Oakville. Treasured mother of Mary, Cynthia and Andrew (Andy) and dear grandma of Dylan and Kiri. Susan will be remembered with affection and admiration by her many piano students of all ages and levels, as well as by countless friends at St. John's United Church in Oakville. Susan and John, who recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, were fellow teachers in the early 1950's at the Haile Selassie I Secondary School near Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Later, John taught for 25 years at Blakelock and Queen Elizabeth Park High Schools in Oakville. Last week, loved ones gathered in St. John's small chapel, with The Reverend Sheila Murray, to give thanks for Susan's beautiful, inspired life.
