ESPOSITO, Amedeo Passed away peacefully in the caring environment of Ian Anderson House in his 89th year, with his children Stephen and Elizabeth at his side, on September 19, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Marion (nee Ibbotson) and proud Granddad of Cleo, Corinne and Elise. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends and family around the globe for his kindness, passion for politics, countless stories, worldly travels, community volunteer work, joking nature and most importantly, his devout faith in God. Amedeo was born and grew up in Egypt. After technical college, he moved to Northern Rhodesia (Zambia) to work as a mechanical draftsman, where he met and married a young English teacher, Marion. They immigrated to Canada in 1968, where they raised their family of two children. The family would like to thank the many people who cared and supported Amedeo in the last couple of years- the Vistamere staff, his doctors, nurses and PSWs, OTMH staff, and everyone at Ian Anderson House. A memorial mass to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, September 26 at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Parish, 2415 Rebecca St., Oakville.
