Investigators believe all three incidents involve the same man. On Wednesday, Sept. 16 Police said two female high school students were walking to school in the area of Bedford Road and Deramore Drive on Sept. 16 when a man approached and engaged them in conversation. Both students reported they felt uncomfortable and walked away towards the school. On Tuesday, Sept. 22 On Sept. 22, a man approached a lone female student near Maple Grove Plaza on Maple Grove Road. The man engaged the student in conversation while standing closely. The youth walked away towards her school. On Thursday, Sept. 24 On Sept. 24, a lone female student was walking towards the school near Bedford Road and Deramore Drive when she saw a male standing near a vehicle watching her. Police say the man got in his vehicle and appeared to follow the student until she arrived at the school. Police are reminding students to trust their instincts and use their cell phone to call someone or walk with a purpose to their destination if they feel uncomfortable. He has short brown or blond buzzed hair and brown eyes, was cleanshaven and was wearing a grey shirt with blue sunglasses hanging from it and blue jeans. The man possibly spoke with an accent. The man was operating an older white or grey four-door sedan with silver rims, similar to a mid- to small-size Toyota or Honda. Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call Det.
