Aquatics staff raises $2K for charity Thanks to Oakville Aquatics staff, more children in Oakville will have an opportunity to participate in local recreation programs. The Town's 150 Aquatics staff members raised $2,309 this summer for Oakville's Recreation Connection Fund, a program that allows children access to recreation programs regardless of their family's income level. The money raised by Aquatics staff through bake sales, a games night and donations is enough to cover one child's registration in all swim classes, ranging from Parent and Tot to National Lifeguard Instructor.
