Built in 1890 by escaped negro slaves coming to Oakville via the Underground Railroad, Turner Chapel operated as an AME Church until it was leased to the Independent Anglican Church (Canada Synod) 10 years ago for St. Columba's Church. The society is now selling King Edward daffodil bulbs for fall planting - to help keep those daffodils bloom ing every spring.
