The members of the choir are currently on a three-month tour in conjunction with Free the Children, a non-profit organization Chisholm has been a supporter of. Students and staff were treated to the upbeat performance of the Kenyan Boys Choir, which included traditional music and featured guitar and handmade Kenyan drums. Prior to the show, students learned about Free the Children and its Adopt a Village programs. Chisholm has raised money and awareness of Free the Children's local and global issues. "In the past, Chisholm's Me to We team has raised money for families overseas to use towards the purchase of goats and economic stability. They have raised money for clean drinking water and funds towards building a school in association with Free the Children," according to a press release. "The Chisholm Academy Me to We team is excited to continue their work with Free the Children this year. They are currently running a food drive to gather nonperishable items to benefit the food bank at Kerr Street Mission."
