The Oakville Alfield over 30 team plays host to a Hungarian squad tonight (Wednesday), 7 p.m., at Shell Park. The premier match -- which will be held in conjunction with the Oakville internation al soccer tournament and expected to draw a large crowd -- will feature Alfield United (their top men's team) against the Duna Hungaria 3rd division team on Sunday, July 1, 5 p.m.. at Bronte Athletic Field. TTie Alfield `Old Boys' kicked off this reciprocal tour on Monday, hosting their Hungarian counterparts. The Alfield Soccer Club, which has been thriving since 1975, and has now grown to a roster of four teams which play in the Halton-Peel Senior League, fielded two teams for a highly successful tour of Hungary last October.. In recent Halton Field Hockey Club action, Oakville Amcor tied Burlington Wallawoods 0-0; defeated WC's 1-0 (Eva Martinez) and lost 2-0 to first place Quest Communications. A few foursomes remain for a charity golf tournament at Blue Springs Golf Club on July 5th. All proceeds will go to Big Sisters of Oakville to support their on-going commu nity programs. The day will include: barbeque lunch, round of golf, electric cart and dinner. Try your luck at the two hole-in-one contests sponsored by Ford Canada and Kawasaki.
