Twisters tops at Mississauga tournament

Even though they scored just five goals in four games, the North Halton peewee A Twisters took top spot at the 25th-annual Mississauga Chiefs' Girls' Hockey Invitational. They tied Cambridge 2-2, defeated the Barrie Sharks 1-0, lost to the Mississauga Chiefs 1-0, then beat Barrie again 2-1 in the championship game. Shauna Patterson (3G, A), Jen Eady (G, 2A), Jen Cushnie (G) and Hailey Galloway (2A) were the leading Twister scorers.
