Veteran and retired Halton Hills firefighters will be honoured during a special ceremony next week. Firefighters with 20-plus years of service with the fire department will be recognized by Mayor Rick Bonnette and Halton Hills Director of Fire Services Bob Meads at John Elliott Theatre, 7 p.m. Wednesday during the Halton Hills Fire
Protection and Prevention Services Awards and Recognition ceremony. Municipal service awards will also be presented by Bonnette. Six members of Halton Hills Fire Protection and Prevention Services have reached 25 years of service and five are celebrating 20 years each of service with the department. Recently retired firefighters will also be recognized for their service.
