Dear editor, On Thursday, February 23, between 6:30 p.m.-7 p.m., someone struck my vehicle at the Georgetown Market Place and left the scene. My vehicle was parked in the front of the mall near the center doors (beside Family Optical) and is a sub-compact General Motors product and is red. The damages to the vehicle have been appraised at approximately $1,100. I am upset that the responsible party would leave without so much as leaving a note. I have been a member of this community all my life and am deeply upset that someone would drive away from this incident without owning up to the damage. I am appealing to the person responsible or for any witnesses to this incident to come forward by contacting Darlene Knight at 905877-4606. Darlene Knight, Georgetown
