Acton High School Athletes of the Week are Eric Corman and Melissa Rowley. Corman, a guard on the Bearcats senior basketball team was chosen for his 8 points against Burlington Central. Rowley, a power on the Bearcats senior volleyball team was selected for her serving and hitting at GHAC. Georgetown District High School Athletes of the Week are Duncan Cairns and Dave Cavasin were recognized for their great school spirit as they dressed up as Captain Rebels at a recent spirit assembly. Christ the King High School Athletes of the Week are Kevin King and Jessica Switzer. Both are members of the Jaguars swim team, and Switzer was cited for her silver in the 100 metre breast stroke, her sixth [place in the 50 free and eighth in the medley relay at OFSAA. King was chosen for anchoring the boys relay, swimming the back stroke, with a 19th place finish.
