Martin Maciejewski, 2, gets a too-close look at a bubbelemaker during the downtown Georgetown Village Festival Saturday afternoon. The annual street party featured a variety of events and games for youngsters and the young at heart.The annual downtown Georgetown Village Festival was held Friday and Saturday and among those keeping the crowds entertained was Mark Sakalauskas, alias Scramble Lock, a member of the Fantastic Poppers, who performed a dance called "Lockin" Saturday afternoon.
There was lots of entertainment at the Village Festival Saturday as Elizabeth Shelley from the Halton Hills School of Dance performed a movement libre dramatique (left) while entertainer Trulee Odd kept the crowd amused by chowing down on a really hot snack (above centre) and also riding a 10 foot unicycle blindfolded while juggling machetes.
