ActiVan activates new bus

Acton resident Ron McKnight tried out the Town of Halton Hills new ActiVan bus recently at his Cook Street home. Assisting McKnight is Roger Clark, a bus driver for Tyler Transport who operates the bus on behalf of the Town. The new bus recently went into service and McKnight was impressed with the new unit, which can accommodate up to three wheelchairs and 17 ambulatory passengers. The bus has features including a "kneeling" option to allow for easier access to the unit by wheelchairs and scooters as it lowers to the curb.
