CPI launches major expansion

Communications & Power Industries (CPI) executives were joined by Halton Hills representatives last Friday in celebrating the start of a major expansion at the River Drive plant. The three-storey, 62,000 sq. ft. expansion will be added to the existing 125,000 sq. ft. building to allow for new production, equipment and staff. Construction is expected to be completed later this year. On hand for the ceremony were (in front, from left) Ward 2 Councillor Joan Robson, Ward 3 Councillor Moya Johnson, CPI CEO Joe Calderelli, Halton Hills Mayor Rick Bonnette, CPI plant manager Gerald Paranczuk, Halton Hills Economic Development Officer Bill Anderson and Halton Hills CAO Dennis Perlin. In back are, CPI V-P Tony Russell, CPI V-P Mike Boyle, Ward 1 Councillor Jon Hurst, Ward 3 Councillor Mike Davis, Harold Reinders and Greg Cartwright of CPI.
