There are 11 members (10 councillors and the mayor) on Halton Hills council
* Those elected on Nov. 13 will serve a four years instead of three
* Voter turnout in Halton Hills during the last municipal election was 34.47 per cent
* In the 2003 municipal election there were 36,665 eligible voters and 12,637 people cast votes.
* As of Sept. 1 there were 38,208 eligible voters registered in Halton Hills- 7,572 in Ward 1, 7,419 in Ward 2, 11,864 in Ward 3 and 11,353 in Ward 4.
* There will be 18 voting locations in Halton Hills on election day, and five advance poll locations
* There are 21 members on Halton Regional Council (16 councillors, four mayors and the regional chairman)
* Halton District School Board (HDSB) consists of 11 members including the chairperson.
* There is currently only one trustee from Halton Hills on the HDSB, but due to a change in the legislation, as of this election there will be two representatives from Halton Hills on the board.
* Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) consists of eight members including the chair. There is one trustee to represent Halton Hills.
