Acton man charged with possessing child porn

An Acton man is facing child pornography charges after police searched a Rosemary Rd. home Monday. During the search, Halton Police, working jointly with Toronto Police Service, seized computer equipment containing images of child pornography. Charged with one count each of distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography is Michael John Johansen, 28, of Rosemary Rd., Acton. Johansen appeared in bail court in Milton on Nov. 15 where he was released and scheduled to appear in court again Dec. 5. William Walter Watson, 32, of Ireson Rd., Burlington was also charged with one count each of distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography after a search of a Burlington home. Halton and Toronto Police are working together to crack down on people distributing child pornography on the Internet.
