Amnesty International presents Write for Rights with the Halton Hills group any time after 8 p.m. at the Shepherd's Crook pub, 86 Main St. S. in Georgetown. Sign prepared cards and appeal letters for human rights around the world. Amnesty International-Halton Hills will send greeting cards hand made by school children from this area. They will go to the group's adopted Cuban prisoners, and to human rights workers who need to know people care. Everyone is welcome to drop in, join the fun, raise a glass, make a difference. Amnesty groups around the world will all be Writing for Rights. Help the group set a record for the number of cards and letters from Canada.
