Movie-goers in Halton Hills will have to travel elsewhere for their flick fix for the time being after Georgetown Cinemas 3 closed for business this week. A sign was posted on the front doors of the Guelph St. theatre and a message on the Cinemas 3 website stated, "Due to unforeseen circumstances Georgetown Cinemas 3 has ceased operations as of Jan. 28/07." Theatre owner Danny Edwards did not want to comment on the situation but said an announcement on the future of Georgetown Cinemas 3 will likely be issued early next week.
