The Upper Credit Humane Society is seeking donations to cover the cost of eye surgery done on Genevieve, a stray cat. Her pain was obvious as there was a piece of something in her eye, maybe a bb gun pellet. She spent for weeks at the vets being treated with antibiotics to subdue the inflammation to no avail. An operation was necessary to save the eye and the vet agreed to cover half of the bill through his "Hershey Fund" for animals with special needs but the UCHS would still owe $800. That is a huge strain on the volunteer organization's budget and the UCHS is asking the public if they will help pay for Genevieve's surgery-- if you would like to contribute please send donations to the Upper Credit Humane Society marked "Genevieve Fund" or call 519- 833-2287.
