The Christ the King `Green Team' environmental club might have just started last November, but their numbers have grown significantly throughout the winter, building awareness of energy conservation and other environmental issues within the school. They will be taking part in the Town's 20-Minute Makeover Day, April 20, as well the all-day clean-up event, April 21. On Earth Day, they will also have a display at the Town's public works yard to build awareness, and also have plans to challenge other local high schools to have the most students turn out for Town CleanUp Day. Among those getting primed up for the clean-up were (from left) Caitlin Hill, Candice Ramoutar, CtK teacher Amanda Falconer, Emily Dimytosh, Angela Bell, Ryan Ricciuto, Andrew Martin, Susan Kuruvilla, Halton Hills Mayor Rick Bonnette, Town of Halton Hills staffers Sonya Serrick and Alison Chiasson.
