Starting the playoffs as the sixth seed in the South Central Triple-A loop, the Halton Novice AAA Hurricanes swept Niagara Falls and then prevailed in six games over first-place Brampton to represent the SCTA at the five-team OMHA championship tournament in Markham, where they finished fourth, dropping a 5-3 decision to Welland in the bronze medal game.
