Ethan Lorusso of the Georgetown Bantam Select Raiders found himself on a breakaway against the goalie who might be the Toronto Maple Leafs' starter one day during a scrimmage with the American Hockey League's Toronto Marlies on Tuesday night at the Alcott Arena. Justin Pogge and the Marlies held a practice in front of about 300 spectators and signed autographs afterward as part of a promotion with the Georgetown Minor Hockey Association. On Saturday, March 24, the Marlies host the Hamilton Bulldogs at the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto at 7 p.m. in what will be Georgetown Minor Hockey Day. Tickets regularly priced at $25 can be purchased for $12 and the GMHA team that sells the most will get 30 platinum level seats for the game. For more info call Darcy Traer at the Marlies' office at 416-263-3921.
