My grandfather grew up in this orphanage, and I would love to hear from anyone else who might have knowledge about the site or records about its use.

This became Ortona Barracks, Central Command Ontario(Army) until PM Trudeau closed it. Located on Bond Street, off Kerr Street.
Building has been modified for other purposes.
My dad worked there til it closed.

My grandparents died at Highland Grove in Haliburton in 1919-1921. Some of the 9 children became wards of the IOF home in Oakville. Would be interested in knowing about the home.
