I found your publication by looking up the Bussell family name. I have a lid off of a milk canister that has the steel name label on it.
It warms my heart to read of the history on my family home. I was the very last child to grow up in this house. Ever.
My grandparents Elsworth and Connie Hawke moved into this home from in approximately 1952 and was our homestead until 2011.
My grandfather could have purchased it for $1000/acre, but he felt that it was too much to financially commit to with having to still raise the last of 9 children.
If I were to win a giant jackpot of money, I'd buy this 84 acres (roughly), rebuild the house, preserve the grounds, and have it be an oasis for people to enjoy forever.
